at the Shakespeare Theatre Company
Fall Classes start September 13. Both In Person and Online Classes are offered.
TUITION FOR ALL ONLINE CLASSES IS $199

Class Time: 6:45–9:15 p.m. ET, once a week for six weeks
Location: All In Person Classes will be taught at STC’s Rehearsal Studios at 516 8th Street SE. All Online Classes take place ONLINE AT Zoom.us

COVID-19 UPDATE, August 19:
Classes at STC will take place both in person and online for the fall sessions. Our STC Teaching Artists have adapted their curriculum to successfully reach students in an online format with no more than 12–16 students. We will be offering online Classes at STC at a reduced rate of $199.
HEALTH AND SAFETY for In Person Classes:
All students must provide proof that they are fully vaccinated in order to attend in-person classes at Shakespeare Theatre Company. Students who need a reasonable accommodation for medical reasons or due to a sincerely held religious belief, and children under the age of 12, will require proof of a negative COVID-19 test (each week classes are held) in order to be allowed entrance.
Shakespeare Theatre Company accepts the following methods for proving vaccination, which must be presented along with a photo ID:
- Physical vaccination card, or a photo of your vaccination card
- CLEAR app Health Pass – https://www.clearme.com/support/healthpass
- Digital vaccination cards through your home Health Department (check with your state/county’s Health Department if not listed below)
- D.C. Residents – https://dchealth.dc.gov/page/dc-myir
- Virginia Residents – https://www.vdh.virginia.gov/immunization/viis
- Maryland Residents – https://md.myir.net/rorl?next=/
Students who need a reasonable accommodation for medical reasons or due to a sincerely held religious belief, must provide proof of a negative COVID-19 test, which must be presented along with a photo ID.
Students with one of the above accommodations who are required to provide a negative COVID-19 test result must have proof of a PCR test taken within 48 hours of the class start time or an antigen test taken the same day of the class. At home tests will not be accepted. Proof will be accepted in the following forms:
- Physical negative test result
- Email from a test provider
- App verifying negative test
Children under 12 must provide proof of a negative COVID-19 test (once weekly for classes held two days per week) and a parent or legal guardian to confirm their identity.
Masks are required for all in-person classes students, regardless of vaccination status. Masks must be worn at all times, except when actively eating or drinking in designated areas.
