Shakespeare Theatre Company offers classes for youth and teens between the ages of 9 and 18

REGISTRATION FOR FALL IN-PERSON and ONLINE CLASSES NOW AVAILABLE!

Class time: 4:30–6:30 p.m. ET, twice a week for six weeks
Location: All In Person Classes will be taught at STC’s Rehearsal Studios at 516 8th Street SE. All Online Classes take place ONLINE AT Zoom.us

COVID-19 UPDATE, August 19:

HEALTH AND SAFETY for In Person Classes:
All students must provide proof that they are fully vaccinated in order to attend in-person classes at Shakespeare Theatre Company. Students who need a reasonable accommodation for medical reasons or due to a sincerely held religious belief, and children under the age of 12, will require proof of a negative COVID-19 test (each week classes are held) in order to be allowed entrance.

Shakespeare Theatre Company accepts the following methods for proving vaccination, which must be presented along with a photo ID:

Students who need a reasonable accommodation for medical reasons or due to a sincerely held religious belief, must provide proof of a negative COVID-19 test, which must be presented along with a photo ID.

Students with one of the above accommodations who are required to provide a negative COVID-19 test result must have proof of a PCR test taken within 48 hours of the class start time or an antigen test taken the same day of the class. At home tests will not be accepted. Proof will be accepted in the following forms:

  • Physical negative test result
  • Email from a test provider
  • App verifying negative test

Children under 12 must provide proof of a negative COVID-19 test (once weekly for classes held two days per week) and a parent or legal guardian to confirm their identity.

Masks are required for all in-person classes students, regardless of vaccination status. Masks must be worn at all times, except when actively eating or drinking in designated areas.

Refund Policy:

If you are unable to attend a class for any reason (including weather), no refunds or exchanges will be provided. STC rarely cancels events due to inclement weather. If STC cancels a class for any reason, including inclement weather, we will email you. We will make every best effort to reschedule the class at a time convenient for the instructor and the majority of the students, but tuition is non-refundable.

If you are no longer able to attend the class as scheduled, please submit a written request to Classes@ShakespeareTheatre.org. 50% will be refunded if registration is withdrawn until one week prior to the first scheduled class. Starting a week prior to the first scheduled class, TUITION IS NON-REFUNDABLE.
