The Greater Washington Metropolitan Area hosts incredible community and social service organizations that perform extraordinary work. Recognizing that there are a variety of obstacles that might make it challenging for the communities they serve to attend live theatre, STC has removed at least one barrier: cost. Free Will provides qualifying organizations with group tickets at no charge, and aims to work with these organizations to welcome their constituents to experience performances in STC’s spaces.

STC is committed to breaking down barriers that could keep potential audiences from attending our productions. We’ve created the $20 Ticket Lottery to make lower cost tickets available for every show this season.

$20 tickets will be available for select performances and subject to availability.

To enter the lottery you must have a Shakespeare Theatre Company account.

25% discount on ticket prices for those in or retired from the military as well as EMS, police and fire fighters. I.D. or proof of service must be provided to pick up tickets. Call or visit our Box Office at 202.547.1122 to purchase.

STC is pleased to introduce a special discount just for its closest neighbors. Patrons who live or work in the areas nearest STC can buy tickets discounted by up to 66% for specially designated Neighborhood Night performances. Proof of neighborhood residency or employment for the purchasing member of the party must be presented at the Box Office at time of ticket pick-up, and each patron is limited to four tickets. Tickets are based on availability.

Current Neighborhood Night participants include Penn Quarter (home of Sidney Harman Hall and the Michael R. Klein Theatre at the Lansburgh), Capitol Hill (home of STC’s administrative offices), University Heights/Brookland (home of STC’s scenery and prop shops), and Southwest, DC (home of STC’s future administrative offices).

A limited number of unsold seats are available for $35 starting two hours before show time and only available in person at the box office. Box office associates will not be able to verify the number of available tickets over the phone.

Audience members 35 and younger can purchase tickets for $35. All Under 35 ticket purchasers must show ID at will call to pick up tickets, and all users of Under 35 tickets must be under 35.
